American Income Life MGA Ryan Vopat

Ryan was born and raised in the great state of Ohio. He is originally from the suburbs of Cleveland and currently resides there while working for the Surace-Smith Agencies of Ohio. His entire family is from the Cleveland area including his parents and his two sisters, Danielle and Gabrielle Vopat.

Ryan attended Notre Dame College of Ohio where he played basketball and double-majored in Management and Human Resources with a Minor in Psychology. From there, he went to work for a bank right out of school, but was looking for something more. So, Ryan went on a short stint with a retail clothing company which developed his work ethic. From there, he went on to become a Financial Advisor but was not 100% sold on all of the cold-calling and bothering his family to find clients. Ryan heard about the opportunity at American Income Life and ultimately made one of the best decisions of his life in joining the Surace-Smith Agencies in August 2006.

American Income Life  has given him a new outlook on life including new and exciting opportunities for himself and for his family. Working in the Surace-Smith Agencies has been a life-changing experience, allowing him grow as a person and as a leader in ways he could have only dreamed of. Ryan always wanted to be in an organization that was something special and he has truly found that with American Income Life and here at the Surace-Smith Agency.
